HOLIDAY PARTY COMMITTEE REPORT

12th Annual Holiday Party a Great Success!
December 5, 2002
The San Diego Hall of Champions

Insurance "folks" are angels sent from heaven. This year, the agents and brokers, sponsors and celebrity waiters went far beyond what was anticipated to raise money, collect toys and canned goods for four non profit organizations. The charities that will receive the bounty of your generosity are:

Kids Included Together
&
Boys to Men Mentoring

The toy drive and food drive was equally distributed between "Heart to Heart" and "Interfaith Shelter ".

Our special guest emcee, Terry Burhans, from Fox 6 in the Morning helped motivate the waiters and the audience to give their all………and they did! We cannot thank Terry enough for all of his personal time donated to San Diego charities.

Tom Torgerson played a jolly Santa Claus and Stu Hartley was the official IBA photographer. Our sincere thanks to both gentlemen.

The committee who worked so hard to make this a success are:

Lori Fentress, Beth Billstein, Chuck Battin, Terri Cendali, Barry Garson, Fred Liebel and Elizabeth Vejar.

Our VIP Sponsons and Sponsors respectively are:

Cooper & McCloskey, G.S. Levine Insurance Services, Inc., J&M Keystone, Inc., London American General Agency, Premium Finance Specialists, San Diego, Insurance Temps, State Compensation Insurance Fund, Wateridge Insurance Services, Inc., & Westland Insurance Services, Inc.

Access E&S, Engle, Graham & Buchanan, Hull & Co., Katie Freeman Insurance, SAFECO Insurance Co., TCS Restoration, & The Plant Shop.

Those madcap celebrity waiters who did such a great job raising all that money by making total fools of themselves are:

Christiane Hoffman, Larry Rasmussen, Barry Garson, Donna Lusignan, Maikish, Irene Tomesetti, Ken Meekes, Donna Marugg, Greg Liewal, Camille Segobia, Joe Seagerson, Tony Carvalho, John White, Carmen Hagbloom, Denise Jump, Justin Gay and Kit Smith.

The raffle and auction donors contributed enormously to making this event a success. They have been thanked individually by letter and their names appeared on the program. We couldn't have done the job without them!

I have been honored to be you chairman and I truly appreciate YOU who made this event a success. I wish you the best holidays ever and a Happy New Year.

Very respectfully,

— Judy King, Holiday Party Chairman
