Steve Coviello

Vice President/Van Orsdale Insurance
Steve was born in Massachusetts in 1965, and moved to San Diego in 1977 with his family when his father, Lou, was offered a promotion with Liberty Mutual. He grew up in El Cajon and went to Granite Hills High School, and later did a year of college to play basketball. He went into the construction field for a couple of years, before starting a career in retail, when he met his wife in 1993. His father had always wanted him to come into the insurance field, and after two frustrating years in retail, he took his father's advice. He started from the ground level; filing, claims work and going to broker school. After almost 10 years now, he and his partners Doug Galloway and John O'Neill have taken over the operations at VanOrsdale, where he holds the office of Vice President. Their Office employs 27 "great" people,
